5 TRADING
How are trades executed?
- All orders are guaranteed according to the fair market rate.
- When a client clicks for a trade, the client makes a request
according to the market watch price. If the requested price is a
traded market price the trading system will confirm. Otherwise, if
the price changes, the system will send an automated re-quote with
the fair market rate. The client will then have the choice to
confirm or reject.
- Basel Financial Inc. reserves the right to cancel and delete any
transaction/pending order executed on an invalid price (directly
executed or re quoted) without prior notice.
- Market spread may be offered on all or selected products for
the duration of news releases and throughout hectic markets.
Is trading automated?
Basel Financial implements the highest technological standards, through
state of the art bridging software with first class banks to ensure the
highest execution performance. Currently Basel Financial has achieved
the following automation levels.
• In normal market conditions trading is automated up to 90%.
• In hectic market conditions trading is automated up to 60%
• In unusual conditions or emergencies, automation will be disabled,
(Collapsing Market, internet disconnections, technical problems and
electrical blackouts) and will be replaced with the Trading Room.
Consequently this makes clients trading experience much smoother than
anywhere else.
What is a "Re-quote" and why does it occur?
Basel Financial does not enforce any quotes or prices on the client; no
instant execution will be filled without the prior approval of the
client.
When a client clicks for a trade, the client is making a request
according to the market watch price. If the price is available, the
automated trading system will confirm immediately. Otherwise, the
automated trading system will send a re-quote with the current fair
market price. The client will have the choice to accept or reject the
new price.

§ All pending orders must be placed according to product specifications.
Check products tabs on
www.baselfinancial.com
§ Once pending orders are in process, Basel Financial system will reject

§ All pending orders are good until Friday and market holidays i.e.

Does Basel Financial allow slippage?
No. Basel Financial does not work with slippage at all. Be assured that
the client will always get fair market price and each transaction is
made with the client's consent only.
What is the difference among buy limit, buy stop,
sell limit and sell stop?
Buy limit - to place an order (Buy position) at a price lower than the
market price at the moment of placing the order.
Buy stop - to place an order (Buy position) at a price higher than the
market price at the moment of placing the order.
Sell limit means - to place an order (Sell position) at a price higher
than the market price at the moment of placing the order.
Sell stop means - to place an order (Sell position) at a price lower
than the market price at the moment of placing the order
Can I use the trailing stop?
Yes, Basel Financial allows the use of trailing stops.
§ Stop Loss is intended to reduce losses when the symbol price moves in
an unprofitable direction. If the position becomes profitable, Stop Loss
can be manually shifted to a break-even level.
§ To automate this process, Trailing Stop was created on Basel Financial
trading platforms. This tool is especially useful when price changes
strongly in the same direction or when it is impossible to watch the
market continuously for some reason.
§ The Trailing Stop is always attached to an open position and works in
the client terminal, not in the server like Stop Loss orders, for
example.
To set the Trailing Stop:
MT4:
- Right click on the open position in the terminal window and
choose the trailing stop function.
- Then select the desirable value of distance between the Stop
Loss level and the current price in the list.
- Only one trailing stop can be set for each open position.
- Once the above action has been performed, at incoming new
quotes, the terminal checks whether the open position is profitable.
As soon as the profit in points becomes equal to or higher than the
specified level, the trail stop command to place the Stop Loss order
will be placed automatically.
- Furthermore, if the price changes in the profitable direction,
trailing stop level will follow the price automatically. If the
profitability of the position falls, the order will not be modified
anymore.
- Thus, the profit of the position is fixed automatically. After
each automatic Stop Loss order modification, a record will be made
in the terminal journal.
BlueTrader:
- To use the “Trailing Stop” option you must have an open
position on which a “Stop Loss” order has been placed. Right click
on the open position and select “Trailing Stop” and then “Custom”.
- The “Trailing Stop” window will open. It contains a brief
explanation about this facility. Two different ways to move your
stop loss order are available: the first option modifies your stop
loss order once, according to the initial trailing stop level.
- The second option is to use the “Trailing Step” facility by
checking the “Trailing Step” box. Set the “Step Trailing Level” to
indicate the level of pip steps where the stop loss order should be
modified.
- “Movement Trailing Stop” indicates the level of pips the stop
loss order is modified when the market price has reached the Step
Trailing level.
** Trailing stop is not available for micro accounts.

Advisor is able to work independently, without the trader's
participation. It can both analyze the price changes and trades.
This feature allows performing prompt technical analysis of price data
and managing trading activities on basis of signals received. The entire
routine work of technical analysis and trading can be given to the
experts. An expert can perform analytical and trading operations for any

Does Basel Financial provide tools to develop and
use auto trading systems?
To work at the financial markets more effectively, one can develop one's
own successful system of trading. It is very difficult to act within a
chosen system of trading in the manual mode due to significant influence
of normal human emotions. Mechanical trading systems do not suffer from
this disadvantage.
Clients Terminal gives a large range of means for development and use of
mechanical trading systems (MTS, experts, advisors). The development
environment allows creating, debugging, and testing Expert Advisors.
Experts are able not only to alert about recommendation trading signals,
but undertake the complete control over the trading activities.
MetaQuotes Language 4,
MetaEditor and
strategy testing tools are built in the terminal. One can create the
following using these means:
Expert Advisors — mechanical trading systems that allow complete
automation of analytical and trading activities;
Custom Indicators — independently written
technical indicators intended for analyzing of price changes;
Scripts — programs to be executed only once, on request
Expert Advisor is a mechanical trading system (MTS) linked up to a
certain chart. An Advisor starts to run with every incoming tick for a
given symbol. The Advisor will not be launched for a new, tick if it is
processing the previous one at this moment (i.e., the Advisor has not
completed its operation yet). The Advisor can both inform you about a
possibility to trade and trade at an account automatically sending
orders directly to the trade server. Like most trading systems, the
terminal supports testing strategies on history data with displaying
trading in-and-out points in the chart.
Experts are stored in terminal_directory\experts.
Custom Indicator is a technical indicator written independently in
addition to those already integrated into the client terminal. Like
built-in indicators, they cannot trade automatically and are intended
for implementing of analytical functions only.
Custom Indicators are stored in terminal_directory\experts\indicators.
Script is a program intended for a single execution of some actions.
Unlike Expert Advisors, Scripts are not run tickwise, but on request.
Scripts are stored in terminal_dictionary\experts\scripts.
Library is a set of custom functions containing programs most frequently
used. Libraries cannot start execution by itself.
Libraries are recommended to be stored in terminal_directory\experts\libraries.
Included file is a source text of the most frequently used blocks of
custom programs. Such files can be included into the source texts of
experts, scripts, custom indicators, and libraries at the compiling
stage. The use of included files is more preferable than the use of
libraries because of additional burden occurring at calling library
functions.
Included files are recommended to be stored in terminal_directory\experts\include
What are the risks using Expert Advisors?
If the Expert Advisor is well programmed, used with a successful
strategy, with good parameters and favorable market conditions it can
help you generate systematic profit all around the clock in an automated
mode. It can be very profitable to the informed and disciplined trader.
On the other hand it can be very dangerous if you do not use it with
great care, full understanding of what you are doing and about the
parameters that protect you from unexpected loss. Under certain market
conditions and with certain parameters introduced, Expert Advisor can
bring a large account to almost zero balance in less than one hour if
left alone. Basel Financial takes no responsibility in losses related to
the correct or incorrect use of Expert Advisors.
